Thomas Joseph

Bio: Thomas Joseph is the founder of Visiun, Inc., the leading provider of performance analytics to the laboratory industry. A seasoned consulting professional with over 20 years of consulting experience, Joseph’s areas of expertise include financial management, operations assessment and improvements using Lean strategies, and research and development.

He has presented on financial management issues at national conferences and has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals. His research in the area of performance metrics has led to the development of the most comprehensive database of performance metrics in the laboratory industry, as well as the Performance Insight® Dashboard used by laboratories across the nation to measure and sustain performance gains.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology and a Master of Business Administration degree in corporate finance from the University of Michigan. He was also certified in Lean manufacturing by the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering.
