Mary Ann Womack

Bio: Mary Ann Womack is an Accumen Lab Leader designing and implementing real solutions that drive positive change for our partnership clients. In this role she has executed consolidation of Pathology and Microbiology laboratories from multiple sites to a centralized core laboratory. Mary Ann also serves as the Subject Matter Expert for Blood Bank operations throughout the organizationMary Ann has over 30 years of experience in leading operations and process improvement projects in healthcare.. Within the lab space, Mary Ann has led projects ranging from improving Lab test turn-around-time to setting up a tracking system for secure specimen transport, establishing standard work in outpatient laboratory patient service centers and improving patient throughput.Mary Ann earned her BS in Laboratory Medicine from Michigan State University. She holds a Specialist in Blood Bank from Central Florida Blood Bank and a MBA from Webster University in St. Louis Missouri. Mary Ann is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
