Leslie A. Sprick

Bio: A career laboratorian and a senior level advisor to many well-respected healthcare systems in the United States, Sprick was one of the first management consultants who recognized the value that Lean could have on our industry. As a result of that insight, she developed a unique service line to help laboratory groups transform their operations and physical use of space.

Sprick earned her certificate in Lean Manufacturing from the University of Michigan in 2003. She has since taught thousands of clinical laboratory scientists, aides, phlebotomists, pathologists, and managers in the best methods for improving laboratory quality, service, safety, and performance.
