Bio: Jim Ellis has over 40 years of experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing, product development, and R&D in clinical diagnostics. He is the holder of three patents in immunology and clinical automation and is a certified Miller/Heiman Large Account Management Process (LAMP) instructor. He is also the author of multiple white papers, publications, abstracts, and presentations.
Recently retired from Ortho Clinical Diagnostics/Johnson & Johnson and Ciba Corning Diagnostics (Novartis), Ellis was a pioneer in the early introduction of Lean and Six Sigma into laboratories in the late 1990s. He will share experiences from years of conducting successful, rapid change management projects in various lab, research, and manufacturing environments. Currently, he is a managing partner at MME Consulting, LLC.
