Candace Jardas

Bio: Candace Jardas leads the Client Services team at BloodCenter of Wisconsin which includes both customer support/billing staff and the sample intake and processing department for the diagnostic laboratories. Under her supervision since 2012, the sample processing department receives samples for over 7000 patients per month from over 1200 National and International Clinical clients. Through continuous improvement methodologies Candace has guided her team and internal customers through the implementation of a modified single piece flow and sample prioritization process to drive efficiency and improved processing turn-around-times. Client Services is a hub for continuous improvement where the team has embraced tools like idea generation “huddles,” departmental metrics, and visual management to achieve operational goals.
