Bill Marquardt

Bio: Bill Marquardt is currently the Vice President of Laboratory Intelligence at McKesson Laboratory Solutions. He has over 20 years of experience in clinical laboratory informatics, automation, and process management and is an author on the Auto10-A CLSI document entitled “Autoverification of Clinical Laboratory Test Results.” Marquardt is also the Chairman for the CLSI committee on department specific autoverification algorithms (whose documents are currently in review).Marquardt’s previous role was that of Laboratory IT Services Director for the fourth-largest laboratory in the United States. He has also consulted and held positions in several IVD companies.Marquardt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Penn State University, a clinical chemistry technologydegree from Penn State Geisinger Medical Center, and a Master of Business Administration degree. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
