Susan Traub

Bio: Sue Traub has over 30 years of clinical laboratory experience working at multiple Kaiser Hospitals in Northern California. She is currently the Assistant Laboratory Administrative Director at South Sacramento Kaiser Medical Center where she oversees laboratory quality, regulatory compliance, and education. Ms. Traub is a change agent who has implemented various best practices, some which have been spread throughout the Kaiser Region. Examples include tracking Pathology pre-analytical errors electronically, creating Clarity reports to ensure Point Of Care testing compliance, and using secure instant messaging to communicate with providers. Sue has been trained by Kaiser to be an Improvement Advisor and has facilitated in inter-department improvement projects. She has a BS in Microbiology and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Management.
