Kim Wait

Bio: Kim is the manager of the Laboratory Optimization consultant team at bioMerieux. Kim received her training at West Virginia University where she completed her B.S. degree in Medical Technology and
MT (ASCP) certification. Before joining bioMerieux in 2012, she was the Assistant Administrative Director of the Clinical Microbiology/Immunology & Molecular Pathology Laboratories at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina retiring after 30 years of service.

Since beginning her consultant career at bioMerieux, Kim has participated in over 90 projects in 84 different Microbiology Laboratories in 32 states and 2 foreign countries. Kim and her team of experienced Microbiologists are passionate about assisting Microbiology Labs to improve workflow and processes to improve patient care.
