Ary Franklin

Bio: Ary Franklin is the Histology Supervisor for Baylor Scott & White Healthcare located in Temple, Texas and is a frequent speaker at TSH and NSH events. Ary received her Certificate of Histotechnology from Indiana University School of Medicine, where she made the Dean’s List and became certified in Histotechnology with ASCP in 2003. She has been in her current position for 4 years but has been in the Histology field since 1998. Ary helped with the implementation of a barcoding system in the Anatomic Pathology department at BSWH – Temple and has since worked to implement lean tools in the lab to improve quality, overall workflow and maintain patient safety. This Ary’s first year speaking the annual Lab Quality Confab.
